It’s not long to go until Christmas and all of us snowdogs are really excited!
With our human friends feeling all festive, we seem to be getting more and more treats – and the children who come to visit us are wearing their Christmas jumpers and telling us their Christmas lists. Storm went out with Star yesterday and he told me that the children were pretending they were on Santa’s sleigh, which I found quite funny.
There’s a chance it may even snow before Christmas, which will be great for all us snowdogs! I can’t wait to leave my trail of pawprints all across the paddock. Hopefully it snows tomorrow when we’re at Wray Castle and Low Wray Campsite, that would be fun!
Even Archie, who can be a bit mischievous at times, has been on his best behavior – Wolf told him that if he wasn’t good, Santa wouldn’t bring him any presents so Archie’s now stopped digging lots of holes in the paddock and is trying his best to please Santa in time for Christmas. We’ve all had Christmas cards designed, with our faces on the front and children have loved seeing them. The newer guys out of our pack – Archie, Luka, Blade and Shadow will be going for a photoshoot next week in a photo studio – we all had ours done a while back, and it was very exciting!
I wonder what Santa will bring us for Christmas this year – I’m hoping for a little blue harness & a festive hamper of food! Little Skye is hoping to get a backpack for when she goes on hikes with children – she said she’ll be able to take a little flask of tea with her to keep her going & a little writing pad so she can write her blogs on the go.
Here’s a little Christmas poem I wrote, hope you enjoy it.
Bye for now,
Blue x
