Ice - Looking forward to the weekend!

Well it has been a very busy few weeks for me and the pack.
It’s been great fun! I often hear Sonia say that I’m perfect for every occasion because I can meet and greet, take children on carriage rides and pull happy adults with rigs. This means I usually go out whenever Sonia’s van goes out which is good for me :) Did I mention that Sonia has recently got a big, blue van? It’s huge inside! She says that we will have to have our pictures put on the outside soon, and I think that will look really good. It’s a very high van so I’ve had to learn how to jump up into a crate, instead of just walking straight into one. I was a bit worried about that, my sister Luna just jumped straight in; I wanted to follow her but I was a bit nervous – it was not easy but I did it. It would make it much easier if I had a box or something to jump onto first.

Lots of people really love my Ice Blue eyes, I have got used to adults and children staring at me now. I know Siberian Huskies are not supposed to have floppy ears but people like that about me – they often think I am young because puppies have floppy ears.

We’ve all had a lovely weekend – Friday and Saturday we were doing lots of mushing at Low Wray campsite. And on Sunday, there were 8 of us running at the campsite which was very exciting! Have you ever seen 8 huskies at once? It’s quite a sight! I was mostly running with my sister Luna who loves to run really fast so I need to work hard to keep up, I think I managed though. I love running with Skye too, she is also very keen to run. Everyone thinks we look really lovely together because we both have blue eyes. Skye also likes to snuggle in next to me each time we run – I think she likes being my partner.

I am really looking forward to this weekend – lots going on! I am not sure if I am going to Grange over Sands or Muncaster Castle on Saturday because Sonia hasn’t decided yet which huskies are going where. If I go to Grange for their Christmas Extravaganza then it will be a very interesting day as I have never been to Grange and I bet it will be great to explore. I will get to meet lots of new people, which means I will get lots of cuddles and tummy tickles. I will also give children some carriage rides; I like doing that and I get told that I am a very good boy and get given lots of treats. We wont get home until very late which will be quite exciting.
Huskies in snow
We’re also hoping for snow again this year!
If I am chosen to go to Muncaster Castle’s Christmas Fayre, than I will be traveling with Zoe and her mum, Leanne, who are going to take us up in her car. Whenever we go to Muncaster we often get yummy Cumberland sausages or pork roast plus a nice drink of tea. On Sunday I will be at Muncaster too, giving rides with my friends. So I hope I get the best of both worlds by going toGrange on Saturday and Muncaster on Sunday, that would be nice :)

I do love Muncaster!
It is a very exciting time of year; we all like it when it gets colder because it’s much easier for us to run without getting too hot. I’m looking forward to all the Christmas Fayres and days out meeting and greeting people over the next few weeks at Wray Castle. I wonder which of us will take Father Christmas on the sleigh delivering presents to little boys and girls? And I wonder what presents we’ll get this year? :)

Hope you like my floppy ears :)
